Director- BSI Brand Analytics
Location – Hyderabad #LI Hybrid
About the Role:
To shape better decision-making for priority brands (CKKL+R) in the early stages of their lifecycle by delivering high-impact brand performance analytics, pre-launch tracking, and market landscape insights. This role leads a team that fosters deep brand understanding and analytical excellence to support strategic imperatives, pre-launch readiness, and performance vigilance. Director Brand Analytics ensures that key business questions are answered through enterprise-aligned KPI frameworks and actionable insights that drive brand growth and focus. The Director will partner closely with the Insights / Brand teams to align on priorities, and with the Data Analytics & Platform team to leverage enterprise tools and solutions. The leader will also be accountable for developing a strong functional career path for associates, fostering a high-performing, agile, and collaborative culture aligned with BSI and CLS objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide deep, multidimensional insights into brand performance identifying drivers, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions and shape brand direction.
- Ensure analytics are tailored to brand-specific needs and aligned with enterprise KPIs.
- Oversee analytics that support brand readiness and early performance, including pre-launch tracking, uptake indicators, and scenario-based planning.
- Lead market landscape assessments and establish structured mechanisms to gather and synthesize region- and country-specific insights, ensuring local relevance in global brand strategies.
- Support in enabling reporting mechanisms to capture and synthesize brand performance against market events / trends, competitor moves, and local insights in real time.
- Support implementation of enterprise-aligned KPI frameworks through DAP team to enable consistent tracking, benchmarking, and insight generation across brands and geographies.
- Drive consistency in brand performance tracking across geographies.
- Synthesize complex data into clear, compelling insights that align stakeholders, drive ownership, and support timely, evidence-based decision-making.
- Partner with Data Analytics and Platform Operations teams to co-develop scalable analytical tools and platforms that enhance access to insights.

Essential Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD in Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Science, Economics, or related field.
- 10+ years in analytics roles, preferably in pharma/biotech or FMCG
- Ability to tailor analytics to the unique needs of early-stage and in-market brands, with a focus on identifying growth levers, risks, and performance drivers.
- Proven ability to incorporate external signals—such as competitor activity, market events, and local insights—into brand analytics to inform strategic and tactical decisions. Skilled in translating unstructured market feedback into structured, actionable intelligence.
- Proven leadership in brand analytics, especially in early lifecycle stages
Desirable Requirements:
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization processes.
- Familiarity with global and local market dynamics in healthcare.
- Experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
